THE TRACK: Lean On - Major Lazer featuring MØ and DJ Snake I chose this song due to it's high energy and popularity.  Originally I was torn between this song and 'I'll Show You' by Justin Bieber, however after doing some research I found that 'Lean On' was the most popular choice which would allow for a better reception to the music video. Letter to the label concerning copyright. Dear Sir, Madam I'm writing to seek permission to use the song 'Lean On' by Major Lazer featuring MØ and DJ Snake in my A-level media coursework.  I have been tasked with inventing a fictional record label that are to produce a 3-minute music video to any pop song of my choice and this is the song that I have chosen due to its incredible reception and popularity.  The video itself, when completed will be published to a private YouTube channel that only my teachers, peers and examiners can view.  Due to the copyright on this song, I’m seeking permission from Mad Decent, the label that created this song, in order for me to use it in my coursework. The Perfect Audience Member The perfect audience member for 'Lean On' would b e described as a fun-loving 16–25 year old individual, common to the mass market demographic. They are the type of person to be described as a 'styler', 'rah', or a 'ghetto goth' which are represented in the pictures below.
