I chose this song due to it's high energy and popularity.
Originally I was torn between this song and 'I'll Show You' by Justin Bieber, however after doing some research I found that 'Lean On' was the most popular choice which would allow for a better reception to the music video.
'Lean On' is a very upbeat song and due to this it will allow me to choose from a range of ideas that I have to create with this song as it is so diverse.
It became Spotify's most streamed song of all time, receiving universally positive reviews while reaching over 2 billion views on YouTube, making it the twelfth most viewed video on the site.
Major Lazer is an American Electronic Dance music trio, which includes record producer Diplo and DJs Walshy Fire and Ape Drums It was founded in 2008 by Diplo and Switch.
MØ, is a Danish singer, songwriter, and record producer. She co-wrote and provided vocals on the Major Lazer and DJ Snake collaboration "Lean On" which became an international success, charting at number one in Australia, number two in the United Kingdom and number four in the United States.
DJ Snake, is a French DJ and record producer from Paris. He performed at the 2015 Coachella Music Festival with guest appearances by AlunaGeorge and MØ who did vocals on "Lean On" with Major Lazer. "Lean On" and DJ Snake's remix of AlunaGeorge's "You Know You Like It" were both top 10 Shazamed songs from Coachella 2015.
