DNCE - cake by the ocean 
 The performance element takes place on the beach in front of the sea. Filmed in a close-up shot allows for background to be shown but majority of focus to be I=on the character in the centre. The sound boxes or the microphone won't be used but the look of the singer in front of the waves suits the vibe of the song.
I selected this scene due to the lighting in it. The golden hour/sunset lighting it something I definitely want to include in my music video towards the end when the music turns to the instrumental part as it's more chilled out than the rest of the song which will be reflected by the sunset.

The Chainsmokers: Beach House

This scene is something I definitely want to include in my music video around a beat drop or dramatic change in the music to show a swift change of scene and energy. The character being in the centre of the frame with this lighting and costume allow for a different representation.
The location of this scene is magnificent especially with the lighting and it sets a calm mood to the music video despite the upbeat sound. Doing this shot in slow-motion would add to the impact of this scene.
The lighting of this scene allows for a silhouette figure to be shown which has a bigger effect on the audience as the mood is calm and allows the viewer to listen to the lyrics of the song. This scene would be used in a calmer, more chilled out part of the music to allow for contrasting locations and representations to be shown. As well as this, using it for the perforative element, it separates the narrative parts from the performative parts.

The Chainsmokers - Paris

The bokeh effect that comes from the contrasting light is a feature that I want to include in my video as it shows skills plus adds to the mise-en-scene of a beach day in the summer as the suns going down.
This extreme close-up shot shows emotion in the eyes of the character and I want to include it due to  the effect it will have on the audience and the way that it will effect the mood of the video. with the element of the wind in the background, it carries on with motion and filming this part in slow-motion would add more dramatic effect.

Calvin Harris - Summer


This is the ideal location for the start of my music video as it will be the characters on their way to the beach listening to the intro of the song. With a small spoken part of the video between the characters to make the video the full 3 minutes as the song in a few seconds short, it will meet the spec and allow something different.

Letter to the label concerning copyright. The Perfect Audience Member The perfect audience member for 'Lean On' would b e described as a fun-loving 16–25 year old individual, common to the mass market demographic. They are the type of person to be described as a 'styler', 'rah', or a 'ghetto goth' which are represented in the pictures below.
